Description: This is a seven book set in cardboard slipcase. The books are all approx. 8" x 5", from 115 to 165 pages, paper wraps, carmine red covers with titles printed in goldenrod yellow. The inside pages are a light beige, not standard white. An elegant presentation as expected from Louis Vuitton. First edition, as stated. Published by Louis Vuitton Malletier, Paris, France, 1998. The cardboard slipcase shows a little sign of shelf wear but is still in very good condition. The books are all crisp, solid and unmarked, possibly not even read. There is a yellow ribbon in each one. Overall, very good or better condition. From the Foreword: "We at Louis Vuitton have selected our favorite places in thirty European cities for this, the first edition of our City Guide." Also includes some lovely illustrations along with history of some of the cities. Commentaries are obviously written by someone who is very familiar with the locations.
