In 2006, LV held the inauguration of the Espace Louis Vuitton on its 7th floor where 101 (also the street number of the address) pairs of handmade shoes were given away to predetermined select individuals in attendance. Although we guarantee authenticity we do not guarantee fit. MORE ABOUT THE SHOE/COLLECTION: LVMH, which is based in Paris, opened the Louis Vuitton store on the Champs-Élysées in 1998. In 2003, the store located at 101 Av. des Champs-Élysées began a massive and complete renovation of the historic and iconic building. Work was completed two years later and on October 2005, the seven-story, art deco emporium was rechristened La Maison Louis Vuitton des Champs-Élysées. Three months later, in 2006, it opened l'Espace Louis Vuitton on the top floor. Hundreds of VIPs were expected to attend the highly anticipated store opening on October 9 - preceding the catwalk show of the label's ready-to-wear collection by Marc Jacobs. However much attention was on the 1 thing in the store for which money could not buy; 101 pair of shoes that were handmade and specially designed by Marc Jacobs that were to be given to 101 individuals which had been decided by Arnault himself. Each pair of shoes being made specifically for the intended recipient. This listing is for pair 83 of only 101 pairs. CONDITION: Condition: A (see below) These shoes have not been worn.
