Description: Lot of Two Vintage Handcrafted Coal Figures-Log Cabin w/Chimney and Bear Cub This sale is for two handcrafted figures made from coal excavated in the United States. Both have stickers stating they are handcrafted from coal. The bear cub figure features an additional sticker on the bottom that states it came from Ansted, West Virginia. The first figure is a log cabin with an attached chimney. The cabin has two windows on one of the long sides, and on the other long side, there are two more windows and a door. The chimney is affixed to one of the short sides of the cabin and is crafted to look like bricks. The walls of the cabin are crafted to look like logs, and the roof has visibly crafted tiles. It measures approximately 3 5/8 inches long by 2 1/8 inches deep by 2 1/2 inches tall. The second figure is a bear cub with plastic bubble eyes. The cub has exquisite detail on his fur, ears, and paws. He stands approximately 2 3/4 inches tall by 2 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches deep. Acquired from an estate sale.
