Here is an 8-piece lot of vintage Turkmen (Turkoman) tribal-jewellery that were handcrafted during the mid to late 1900's for the Ersari sub-tribe of Turkmenistan in Central Asia. This lot includes:---> 1 large unusual Turkmen chakalik pendants with long charm-dangles. Chakalik were used as large, ornate clasps on cloaks, or as accents for belts, dresses, and/or the hair. This old single chakalik was sturdily made, and has a sharp hook on one end, once used to secure to a similar clasp piece. This hook is ideal for attaching where you would like it, while the other end has a loop for pins and/or ties. Classic old, handcrafted tribal-jewelry from Turkmenistan. Has been polished somewhat. ---> 2 traditional Turkmen triangular pendant with dangles. Both sturdily made and do not bend. ---> 2 large Tekaki triangular hair-pendants with ornate hooks on top. Mismatched, but similar in size and design. ---> 1 diamond-shaped pendant with fretted border, red bead, and great charm-dangles.
