Description: This is a lot of eight vintage public timetable folders from various eastern U.S. railroads in 1970 and 1971. All of these are the last timetables issued by the respective railroads before the May 1971 startup of Amtrak: - Chesapeake & Ohio/Baltimore & Ohio: October 25, 1970 - Grand Trunk Western: February 1, 1971 - Illinois Central: December 13, 1970 - Louisville & Nashville: December 10, 1970- Norfolk & Western: August 12, 1970 - Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac: December 11, 1970- Seaboard Coast Line: December 11, 1970- Southern Railway, including Central of Georgia: November 20, 1970 There is some (mostly minor) wear from use, age, and/or storage, but in general the folders are still in very good condition overall. Please look at the photos and contact me if you have any questions. We combine shipping for multiple orders where possible. NOTE: If you see individual items in any of my currently-listed 1960's lots that you would like to purchase without having to buy the entire lot, please contact me. I have duplicates for many of these items, plus in many cases I would be willing to break up the lot to accommodate such a request.
