This book is different from the rest. The hardcover is printed with the colored illustration on it - no dust jacket. This book also has damage. There is a spot on the front that has peeled away, showing the cardboard underneath. The inside back cover is wrinkled from water damage. The upper rim edge of the pages appears to have a blue stain, and one page has an edge tear.Tom Swift in the Caves of Nuclear Fire - Book #8 - copyright 156. 214 pages. Missing dust jacket. All books are complete with spines intact and pages are clean (other than one stain on a couple pages in Book #8 of the series). Five of the seven books in this lot are in very good vintage condition, although their dust jackets show wear and have tears or are missing. Most books have a paper residue from a name label on the inside front cover. A couple books have a name written on the inside front cover or cover page. Book #8 in the series is in good condition, but there is a stain on a couple of pages. Book #7 in the series is in acceptable condition. It has water damage, the very tip of the upper rim of the pages appears to have a blue stain, and one page has an edge tear. Also, there's a spot on the front cover on Book #7 that has peeled away, showing the cardboard underneath. Please see photos.
