Description: Lot of 3 Vintage - Hard Cover /Trixie Belden Mysteries/Trixie Belden and the Red Trailer Mystery -Trixie Belden and the Gatehouse Mystery-Trixie Belden and the Mysterious Visitor in fair used condition. The books are all published in 1954. The Red Trailer Mystery, and the Gatehouse Mystery are both 2nd printings. The Mysterious Visitor is a 1st printing. None of the books have there dust jackets. They are all published by Whitman Publishing Co., Racine Wisconsin. The author is Julie Campbell, the illustrator is Mary Stevens, on all of the books. The books all have a date stamped on the inside of the front cover, and have someones name wrote on the first page. They also have a number wrote on the inside of the front page, I wonder if they were a one person's private collection, and they numbered their books. The books all have condition issues. On the Red Trailer Mystery the side binding is coming loose, the inside front cover lining is coming loose along the seam, the outside edges have some wear, there is also some peeling of the clear plastic coating, the pages are yellowing with age, and at the end of the book the pages got crimped over on the top.The Gatehouse Mystery the side binding is coming loose, the inside front cover lining and the back cover lining is coming loose along the seam, the outside edges have some wear, there is also some peeling of the clear plastic coating, the pages are yellowing with age, and from pages 241-262 there is a little chunk of the page missing along the outside side edge. A few of the pages are also coming loose from the binding. The Mysterious Visitor side binding is coming loose, the inside front cover lining and the back cover lining is coming loose along the seam, the outside edges have some wear, there is also some peeling of the clear plastic coating, the pages are yellowing with age, and most of the pages are getting loose along the side binding.These books are 70 years old, they are not going to be perfect, they have been read and used, but all things consider, they look pretty good for their age.
