'Die' was copyrighted in 1991 and this is the First Archway Printing from April of that year. The book contains 248 pages plus an 'About the Author' page. The Omnibus was compilated in 2010 and this is the First Point Printing from September of that year. It includes Pike's first two stories - "Slumber Party" and "Weekend". The book contains 408 pages. The 'Spooksville' book was copyrighted in 1995 and this is the First Minstrel Books Printing from October of that year. The book contains 129 pages plus an 'About the Author' page. Pike first tried his hand at writing science fiction and adult mystery. Later, after an editor's suggestion, he began writing teen thrillers. His first attempt resulted in the 1985 novel Slumber Party. The book was an immediate success and Pike's career as a Young Adult author took off. In addition to these novels, Pike has written several juvenile novels under the Spooksville series title, as well as several adult novels.
