These are all in good condition and working properly.I got the units without batteries so the batteries are not included. These Nooks do require batteries to power up so you will need to source your own batteries in order to use these e-readers. You can find inexpensive replacement batteries here on eBay.Please note: Many cell carriers have discontinued 3G data service so the 3G functionality on these Nooks may no longer be usable. Also please note that Barnes and Noble no longer supports these 1st edition Nooks and they no longer have access to the B&N online book store.
