Lot of 2 HB : Beach Boys Feel Flows + 5 CD and BB in Concert (history);

Description: Beach Boy Fans: These were donated by a patron for resale to benefit the library. "The Beach Boys Feel Flows The Sunflower & Surf's Up Session 1969-1971" is a hard to describe, hardback, oversized album folder which is in excellent condition. The 5 accompanying CDs do not look as if they have ever been removed from the book. The second hardback book "The Beach Boys in Concert: The Ultimate History of America's Band on Tour and Onstage" is also in excellent condition. Please check the pictures. The first item (Free Flows) is a 50 page, 10 inch by 12 inch hardback book Columbia Records created in 2021 to house the rerelease of 4 Beach Boy Discs from the Sunflower and Surf's Up Sessions and a Bonus Disc of a previously unreleased disc of 29 other songs. Howie Edelson wrote most of this "album liner" and he details the making of these albums and shares stories of the group and their relationships. The book also contains Mark Linett's Producer Notes as well as a 10-12 page traditional listing of the songs and information on each. The second item is more of a traditional work. It details (often day by day) the Beach Boys concerts from the beginning tours in 1961-62 through 2011. It also covers their solo concerts and the 2012 reunion. I would say the 400 plus 11inch by 9 inch pages probably would satisfy even the most dedicated fan some new information. This book was written by Ian Rusten and Jon Stebbins and was published in 2013 by Backbeat Books.
