Lot of 2-BALL MASON'S PATENT 1858 FRUIT JAR+IMPROVED JAR W/LIDS Aqua, 1910’s-3Ls

Description: This is a Lot of 2 Ball Quart Masons Jars. One jar is marked “Ball-3L Masons Patent 1858” and the bottom numbered 55; the are only minor dings on the rim and nice bubbling in the glass; this zinc lid is worn and old looking. The other jar is marked “Ball-3L Improved Masons Patent 1858” and the bottom is numbered 1; the zinc lid is really worn and on the “plastic” cap it reads “Genuine Boyd Cap For Mason Jars”; on the rim of the jar, it appears there are cracks, but, I think it is just how the jar was made; nice bubbles in the glass. These jars were really dirty when I got them; they still have a slight white coloring on them. Please let me know if you need any more information.
