Description: Lot of 19 IBM elements for Selectric 1 and 2 only. (White lettering on top means for Sel 1 and 2 only, yellow lettering on top means for sel 3 only). All are IBM brand, 1 has had its tab replaced and there are duplicates in this lot. No broken tabs but they are made out of plastic and can be broken if not handled gently. The fine alignment teeth around the bottom are not broken. ( if any of the teeth or the top tab is broken they cannot work correctly) Years ago these could be sent out and a replacement tooth could be molded or a new top tab could be installed but that was back in the eighties. If your font tab is broken and still mounted on your machine, you'll have to break the rest of the cap off to release the securing spring. Just be careful to not apply rotation or tilt pressure to the machine.
