Description: This lot includes 20 antique vintage quilt blocks that are all hand-sewn and measure 11 inches in length and 11 inches in width. The blocks are made with cotton material and feature florals and solid colors. There are 12 that are a blue floral fabric with a solid black fabric, and 8 that are a purple floral fabric with a solid navy blue. At the estate sale where I purchased these the Great Grand daughter told me that these are very old and all hand made by her Great Grandmother from 1850-1899 through the early 1930's time period. The possibilities are endless with so many different uses. I will have a few listings from the same estate, a few are quilt blocks and a couple are quilt tops. What a wonderful collection! I haven't seen any rips or holes. There may be a few light stain marks but nothing major, just enough to add to the charm of these wonderful quilt blocks.
