Description: Lot of (2) Vintage Morton's Salt Celluloid Advertising Paper Clips / Clamps. Made by Lou Fox, Chicago in the 1930’s. Both display outstanding graphics. One is in outstanding condition, the other displays minimal rust / discoloration to the metal. The pictures are a good representation of the condition. Joy Morton acquired a major interest in the company in the late 1880’s and is credited with adding an anti-caking agent to keep table salt dry. The iconic Morton Salt Girl and slogan “When It Rains, It Pours” was introduced in 1914 in a series of Good Housekeeping magazine ads. All orders are carefully packaged and shipped within 1-business day of order placement.
