Description: Vintage original Lot of 12 Cabinet Card Photographs (5 poses with multiples of each) of Alice Fox Gerster (1885-1971) from the studio of famous sculptor and photographer Aime Dupont, New York City circa 1910. Aime Dupont died in 1900 and Alice is likely older than 15 in these photos - but who knows. Our guess is the photos were taken Aime's wife Etta Dupont. Alice was the daughter of famous NYC lawyer Austen G. Fox (1849-1937) and the family could easily afford the photos by Dupont. Alice went on to marry Dr. John Gerster in 1917, the famous cancer surgeon who started the American Cancer Society. Each measures 10 x12" overall except one which is a little smaller. Only one has writing on back. Some foxing and damage along edges on some cards but photos themselves are excellent. These ship fast and FREE!
