Description: This picture collage salutes that great Los Angeles Dodger team won the World Series in 1959 defeating the Chicago White Sox. The team was led by great players like Duke Snider, Gil Hodges, Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale and Wally Moon known for his "Moon" shots - short fly balls down the left field line that cleared the very short left field fence in the Los Angles Colisseum where the Dodgers first played when they moved to LA. The collage features copies of baseball cards from the era that depict 20 of the players as well as a picture of the Colisseum. Card images are 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" or about one third the size of a real card. This is a great collectible for any baseball fan. As a history buff as well as a lover of old movies and all types of sports, the key to each picture is the research behind it. Deciding what movies should go with a particular star or what game or series would best reflect a certain sports hero is crucial to a successful collage.
