Unsure if this is cowhide with hair or calf / pony hair but I will call it cowhide throughout this listing. Hair is smooth and a bit long in a brown and white color scheme. Appears to be genuine leather. Sewn in panels with a synthetic liner inside torso and sleeves. Long sleeves in a semi bell shape where they are wider at the cuffs. Jagged raw edge to the leather panels throughout. No pockets. Shoulders feel like they might have slight padding inside. Buttons are large plastic shapes like flowers, golden orange color, one button hidden under front lapel too. Has a very trench coat / swing coat cut, taken in at waist. Please note that measurements are in the photos with a flexible measuring tape and are approximations. Due to the shape of the coat and the panels, there is a bit more room in the pit-to-pit measurement than shown; it wasn't possible to get a truly flat measurement. Sold as is with lots of wear: this has been kept in storage by the previous owner who did not use it, but it was attacked by moths. I have cleaned it up as much as possible but there are many places of hair loss to exterior, and you must be warned that it continues to lose hair if you shake it out or run a lint roller over it. My dry cleaners would not clean it due to the existing damage. This piece is being sold as is with incredible hide and hair but might be best for study, costume, or fixing up / using in your own sewing projects. Can also be repurposed for other hide & hair items. It's sturdy and durable as a coat, but it is damaged with visible wear. Signs of age and improper previous storage throughout including hair loss, creases, and wear to the leather and where hair has adhered to leather. Was heavily lint-rolled prior to these photographs, but buyer should expect to need to clean it up and maintain it once owning it. After these photographs, coat has been folded and stored in a brand new ziploc bag in a plastic bin. /b10
