She began her varied career with Eelbeck Milling Company and ended with Harvey Lumber Company at the age of 93. She was the first woman in sales at the Gas Light Company of Columbus but her true passion was cooking. She worked as a caterer for many years and specialized in weddings, serving her signature lemon cheese cake and cheese flowers.
