Description: 1935 Universal Pictures crime thriller adventure starring Edmund Lowe as San Francisco private detective T.N. Thompson (TNT) hired to investigate the murder of a man outside a casino that may be connected to a concert pianist. Esther Ralston, Verna Hillie, Minor Watson, Victor Varconi co-star. Nice border art. Note that this film started as a sequel to The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett, the studio execs did not like the script Hammett turned in so they rewrote much of it but kept Hammett's name for publicity. Also note that this may be the only card that has come up for sale at auction in the past 20 years. Also note that there was another 1941 Universal Pictures film with the same title starring Lloyd Nolan and Irene Hervey about a spy ring, but the films are in not connected. This card, unfortunately, has a major horizontal crease down the middle of the card, and a mild to moderate vertical crease across the card, so the card does not sit flat, but it will be in its own bag with a backing board. Other than the creasing, the card has just a bit of surface wear at the top border, no pinholes. ///...USA BIDDERS ONLY…NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING…//...Shipping will be a $8 USPS First Class mail...You may add additional lobby cards to the same order for no additional shipping costs, I may need to create an invoice to combine shipping…….All my lobby cards are original release 11” x 14” American lobby cards, NOT copies.
