Description: LiveScribe Echo Smart Pen 2GB Write Read Record Starter Pack Black. When I bought this, I was told it was new in an open box, and it certainly looks brand new. But, someone advised me to test it before selling it, and I found that display does not work. You can push the buttons and it will chime. When it’s plugged in to a computer, it will show up as an echo pen on the USB device list, I have read that some people use these with headsets and are able to verify that it’s working without a display. I don’t know if the display can be repaired or not so it’s being sold for parts or repair - as is. Please see photos for items included and exact condition.
