The book itself is in very good condition for its age. Some minor bumping and some wear to boards and spine tips, with fraying. Some soiling to boards. Exposed edge of text block a little dusty with a small area of soiling in lower exposed text block edge. Spine slightly sunned. 1/4” tear in paper in front inner hinge but hinge feels good. Inscription from 1909 on ffep. 1” closed tear on half-title page. A few other short closed tears on a few pages (only saw one other but there could be more). Perhaps a little age toning Blank pages towards end have a light yellowish stain. Otherwise, pages appear to be relatively clean with only minor blemishes here and there. Much nicer condition than the vast majority of copies I have seen on eBay. Collectible copy. Please see pictures to judge condition for yourself.
