Description: This is an original early 1960s paper cover printing of "Little white Rabbit," an elementary reader (probably for first grade students) written by Edith Osswald & Mary M. Reed, beautifully illustrated by Doris & Marion Henderson, and published by D. C. Heath and Company--originally in 1941--as part of its "Our Animal Story Books" series. Overall, the copy being offered is in fair condition. As you'll see in my first four photos, the covers have heavy wear. A large school stamp covers the bottom half of the back cover, a 1.75" X 1" area near the lower left corner of the front cover has had its surface layer torn, and a diagonal crease occurs near the bottom right corner of the front cover. Inside, the pages are well-bound, but most pages have some stains and/or smudges, and writing occurs inside the front cover.
