Description: This is the Lionel Nickel Plate Road Berkshire Locomotive 6-8215 special release from 1982. It may have never been run but I can't say for certain (though it is untested). What I can see is it is in amazing condition. Check out the photos and see for yourself. It comes with the Nickel Plate Road boxcar 9404 new in box.  It is based on the NYC & St. Louis railroad Nickel Plate Road 779, the last of the 70 purchased by the Nickel plate.  Update: i was asked to show the foam pad in the tender so i’ve added the pics of it. Check out how clean it is!
