Description: For sale two very rare Lionel transformer components This was made by Lionel in 1953 They made things for the U.S. Government This has an imprinted Red A Star on one side of the box. This I believe was made for their government contracts Roy Cohn, Josh Cowen's nephew when he part of the Congressional Committees in the 1950s got Lionel government contracts to make things. They made compasses and other small parts for the military. This is most likely one of these.
