"Bench Testing" confirmed a strong whistle sound.The metal tabs on the shell were intentionally left "Open" because repeated bending to close them may cause breakage. The coupler was not tested. The original box is missing some end flaps. This tender was originally made for the Lionel #229 "O" gauge 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive. The tender and its' original box will be wrapped by "Bubble Wrap" or equivalent packing materials before they are placed into the shipping box. Shipping will be by USPS Priority (1-4 days ) Mail.
