Description: For your consideration, Dr4 Watches has on offer a pre-owned but in excellent condition Linde Werdelin Spidospeed DLC Black Diamond Dark MOP Dial Chronograph. This is from my personal collection as it "flexes" all over most APs, sporting PPs, VC Overseas and any number of references from the next down mass produced levels of watch manufacturers. And it is on the gorgeous integrated very premium perforated black leather sport strap which will accomodate up to about a 8+1/2 inch wrist. Despite the beauty, this is very much a tool watch capable of any swimming or light diving duties (it is 100 meter water resistant) and also very versatile as luxury chronograph should be. A Linde Werderlin box (which has shown some age) comes with his fantastic watch and it will of course pass through eBay's Authenticity Guarantee service which is fantastic for any buyer. Note that the MSRP for this watch was $25K+ out the door due to Linde Werdelin's design innovation, the incorporation of striking and "bad boy" black diamond and dark mother of pearl elements, the DLC case treatement and its small production limited edition manufacturing. A quick note on black case construction. DLC... or Diamond Like Carbon coating is the highest level of making a durable, tough, anti-scratch, anti-chip black case. Far superior to standard PVD or Physical Vapor Deposition. This is one beautiful timepiece, the diamonds truly sparkle but in a masculine way and as such this one has exceptionally srong appreciation potential. As with any Linde Werdelin, there are a myriad of strap options that can be acquired from the fine folks at their company location in London. I may look to score a fresh black rubber strap if I decide to keep it. I think a rubber strap would be cool and a little better if I snow ski in this one. Another cool aspect of Linde Werdelin is the ability to afix two different modules to add a sporting water or land-bound piece of utility. These are called "The Reef" and "The Rock" respectively. The Reef is a high-end scuba dive computer whilst the Rock has feature functionality for more land-bound pursuits like hiking, mountain climbing and yeah... snow skiing. Definitely am going to talk with Linde Werdelin at Berkley Square in London about a rubber strap, a Rock and a new box. Of course we at Dr4industries are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity. I am kind of in two minds about selling this one. If I get a Rock and a new strap then I will pull it down so I can ski in this awesome timepiece. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include: 1. This watch is beefy in a classic large chronograph size at 44mm works well on a male wrist of average to large size. I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 7 inchese in circumference and larger. I have an average size wrist at 7+1/8 inches and this watch works well. It definitely makes a statement and is classically oversized. In the fantastic and interesting dark dial, black casing and black diamond bezel the watch wears true to form.2. This is clearly a mission-driven chronograph --- it is an impressive, sporting statement. To me this one says "bad boy" speed. As in looking right at home on higher-end Lamborghinis and Ferraris. Or doing a "Ton Up" on a street bike. Or yeah, those black diamond runs at Snowbird, Jackson Hole and Val d'Isere. 3. The leather strap on this watch is fantastic. Perfectly integrated with the stunning timepiece case. The leather is substantial, bostered and perforated which produces a broad secure look with a slight flare. This is a watch that really only works on medium and large wrists in my professional opinion. 4. Turning this one over and you get a look at the wonderful automatic chronograph movement. 5. The chronograph itself is functional, decisive and a joy to use. Naturally this one has a screw down crown for water resistance. The crown is bolstered and protected by the iconic Linde Werdelin crown shoulders. While this has 100m water resistance, this one is aimed more for land based sporting activities in my view. Or slaying at the finest bars, restaurants or watch meet-ups. 6. The dial is also addition by subtraction. There is no-date function to compete with the dark, mysterious, slightly brooding dial nor the delightful, mischievous sparkle from the black diamonds. You can tell, I think, that this one is special to me. 7. But let's not bury the lead. A lot of the beauty of this watch comes from the wonderful mix of black DLC, innovative casing, the dark MOP dial but especially the black 49 black diamonds. It is beautiful. And most of us want a beautiful timepiece if we are spending $20K+! This timepiece stands out with a certain purpose built functionality wrapped in beauty. Interesting note there are 48 black diamonds in the eight quadrants that infill the bezel. And there is another one placed at 4:30 on the lower sub-register because Linde Werdelin is a rebel company with a rebel spirit. Anyway, this timepiece oozes build quality and looks every bit the part of the $27K+tax MSRP price tag that it sold for when it debuted. 8. Finally, you get a bonus item with a Linde Werdelin fold-out catalog. I picked this one up years ago when I passed through Linde Werdelin in London. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation.
