Limited Edition Signed Alexander Chen A Day at Montmartre Seriolithograph Print ~ Free Shipping ~ Up for sale today is this Limited Edition Signed Alexander Chen A Day at Montmartre Seriolithograph Print. This wonderful seriolithograph on paper is titled A Day at Montmartre. Signed in pencil the lower right and numbered lower left. This is from the E Edition and is 35 of 695. This seriolithgraph measures 11.5" x 17.5" without frame and 15.5" x 21.5" including the metal red frame. The red frame does have some nicks (see pics). This print was produced by Park West Gallery in Southfield Michigan. Please make note - Due to lighting and reflection from the glass the prints look lighter than they are. All prints have vibrant colors and are framed with acid free matte and TruGuard UV glass. Seriolithographs are a combination of lithography (offset, stochastic, photo-mechanical or continuous tone) with serigraphy, a fine art stencil printing technique. Although the term is used by Park West Gallery most commonly, Park West is not the only gallery that publishes or represents these types of hybrid prints. Alexander Chen Bio - Born in the hot and humid city of Guangzhou, China in 1952, Chen first discovered his love of art while developing a series of drawings at the age of 4. He continuously nurtured his talent and vision as his life went through tumultuous change. When he was 16, Chen read “Around the World in 80 Days” and was struck with the urge to travel. Walking and biking, Chen journeyed as far as he was able to document his surroundings. At 16 he moved to the countryside where, as a farmer, Chen learned to love the land and became in awe of its splendor. It wasn’t until the late 1980s that Alexander moved his family to San Francisco. Since then, he has created a series titled “Alexander’s World,” based on modern life in his beloved adopted country, the United States. inkfrog terapeak Listing and template services provided by inkFrog
