The scene is in black ink, appearing on ivory-colored paper with paint drops randomly scattered, giving the artwork a rich, textured look.Rocco Negri was born in Italy in 1932. He attended the Aurel Kessler Academy in Buenos Aries from 1952 to 1954. He emigrated to the United States in 1959 and attended the Art Students League in New York from 1959-1960. In addition to his woodblock prints, Rocco Negri is known for illustrating children's books. This is a numbered limited edition, 38/75. The work is signed by the artist in pencil in the right bottom corner.
