Description: LifeKnife Survival Float Knife with Sheath, Compass, Numerous Emergency Items The Floatknife is well thought out, from start to finish and is ultra-light in weight, but super heavy on functionality, starting with the he Dupont Zytel hollow handle, which is yellow for easy visibility. The double-edged 440-C stainless steel blade has serrations along the top for sawing, while the other edge is razor sharp for cutting. A slot cut almost the full length of the blade lowers the weight and aids buoyancy. The Floatknife's butt cap, also of Zytel, contains a luminous, liquid-filled compass. Imprinted on the handle are both the Morse Code and Emergency Rescue signals. Inside the hollow handle and a pouch on the sheath are various medical and survival kit items such as snare/utility wire, nylon line, fish hooks, sewing needles, tourniquet, scalpel, suture, antibiotic cream, topical anesthetic, neosporin, disinfectant, butterfly bandages, salt tablets, aspirin, and other first-aid items. The black leather sheath incorporates a pocket which contains a small sharpening stone in between the belt loop of the Cordura nylon sheath. Condition is Good+, with minor scuffs and scratches as seen in photos. While other survival knives like the Explora and Kershaw Survival Knife go for rugged toughness, the Floatknife goes for lightweight compactness while still providing even more survival gear and features than the big boys!
