Description: This is an original June 14, 1906 issue of LIFE Magazine in its first iteration, providing humorous commentary on the culture, politics, and events of the day, while also containing lots of ads for products of the time, including many automobile ads. Overall, the magazine being offered is in fair condition and has fragile binding due to heavy chipping along the spine, requiring careful handling to avoid damage. The binding is currently intact, but both covers and some of the pages are loosely attached; the top 6 inches of the left edge of the front cover are already detached. You'll see in my first three photos that the covers have noticeable wear, including edge chipping, wrinkling, and darkening/staining. The covers and all pages also have a light vertical crease extending all the way from the top edge to the bottom, all page edges have some wrinkling & chipping, and the front cover and some of the front pages have tears along their outer edges due to something's having snagged the edge of the magazine in the past.
