Description: This CD is a remastered recording (NOT A BOOTLEG) of "The Last Time" Levon Helm and Rick Danko played together. The date of the gig was July 31st 1999 at a private party in Upstate New York. The party was at the home of the man who made it possible for Lee to start what is now known famously as The Midnight Rambles, at his home in Woodstock N.Y.. Lee was battling throat cancer at the time of this recording, so Rick stepped up to cover all the vocals for the gig due to his old friends medical issues. Rick passed away roughly 5 months later and he and Lee never got the chance to play together again. At this show they were accompanied by some fine musicians which of course were all old friends. Everyone who played the gig is listed in the credits above. This is the first time this recording has been released to the public so we hope you enjoy it
