It is plain steel so you can plate or paint it as you wish. It includes 2 slotted head mounting screws. Other Winchester type reproduction steel end plates sell for $100 plus! Height from top to bottom point is approx 4 1/8" and max width is approx 1 3/16". Top radiused toe is .34" tall and about 1.5" in length. Some of these have casting and/or lot numbers on the inside. These cannot be seen when installed on a buttstock, or could easily be removed. PLEASE NOTE! End plates are fit to the buttstock in all factory production rifles. Every buttstock make and model is different. This may fit your buttstock as it is, or it may require some fitting. Please expect that there may be some fitment required.
