Description: Leuchtenbergia principis One of the strangest looking of all cacti! It has the longest tubercles of any cactus (rivaled only by Astrophytum caput-medusae)! They are the long arms that make up this plant. In a normal cactus they are just the small bumps that the spines are born on. The spines in this cactus are long and look fierce, but are actually quite thin and bendable. You don't have to worry about poking yourself on them. Takes normal cactus care. Protect from frost (it isn't as frost tolerant as the better known Ferocactus species). You will receive a plant shown in the last image or one similar. Plants shown in a 3.5" pot.
