This limited First Edition came in a slipcase instead of a dustjacket, and was limited to 350 copies (this one is numbered 248). The volume is signed by all three "participants": the author Catherine Hayes Brown, the subject Helen Hayes, and the recipient of the letters Mary MacArthur. Condition is terrific, with a tight spine and pages that appear unread. The spine has a bit of sun fading at the very top and very bottom, and the slipcase also has touches of fading but is still in a solid state.
