Description: This box, 4 x 3.2 x 4.5 cm. (1 5/8" x 1 1/4" x 1 3/4"), is made from cruelty fre elk antler. Deer and elk shed (or drop) their antlers annually so this came from a still-living animal. I hand-finished the lid, and inlaid a 25 x 18 mm. leopard skin jasper cabochon, topped by two 8 mm. moss agate beads to represent a basic Goddess figure. The cabochon at the bottom represents the Great Void from which Life comes. The swivel lid closes tightly to keep your treasures safe. Its inner chamber’s dimensions are approximately: 2.5 x 2 x 3.2 cm. (1" x 3/4" x 1 1/4"). Because of the granular nature of the antler’s core, I lined the inside with a non-toxic, acrylic, furniture finish. The last three pictures help show size. The first two of these are for scale; while, the last picture shows more of my work, and gives a better idea as to different sizes.
