Leo Ward Blue Bird Of Happiness Tea light Holder And Blue art Glass Jay

Description: This item is made up of two pieces of art glass, the first is a bluebird of happiness made by Leo Ward, signed and dated 2002 on the bottom. This particular piece also has the plate attached to hold a small tea light candle. The original sticker is still on the bottom, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or breaks. The blue bird of happiness measures in at 2.25” tall by 4” long, by 4” deep. The second bird looks a lot like iris a mid century piece, and possibly Murano, or some other quality brand. It has a highly polished bottom, that has a few scratches on it from being moved around. This bird appears to be a blue swallow, or possibly a swift. It is quite a bit larger than the blue bird candle holder, and the glass has a slightly more translucent look, but the colors are spot on. This piece has a bit of a funny shaped head from his manufacturing process, you can see where they clipped him off of the pontil, he is very pretty though. Sad to say I put a scratch on his tail when taking the pictures, he is so highly polished he just flew outta my hands lol. So I have marked a picture with red arrow and line so you can see it. The larger bird measures 3.25” tall by 6” long by 2” wide. Besides the scratch this piece is in otherwise great condition with no other chips cracks or breaks.
