COSMETICALLY THIS NOTEBOOK HAS SOME MINOR SCRATCHES AND SCUFFS CONSISTANT WITH NORMAL USE AND A COUPLE DROPS. THE FRONT LEFT CORNER HAS A SMALL DENT ON THE CORNER. THERE IS A MINOR DING ON THE PALM REST ABOVE THE “Intel evo” LABEL. FINALLY, TWO RIGHT-SIDE CORNERS OF THE LID ARE SCRATCHED. I HAVE CLOSE UP PHOTOS OF ALL THE BLEMISHES ON THIS NOTBOOK IN THE PHOTO GALLERY. I HAVE EXAMINED AND TESTED AND CONFIGURED THIS NOTEBOOK. THE WARRANTY IS EXPIRED; HOWEVER, YOU CAN PURCHASE WARRANTY UPGRADES DIRECT FROM LENOVO. FIRST, I CONNECTED THE AC ADAPTER AND POWERED IT ON. I CHECKED THE BATTERY AND IT SHOWED 19% CHARGE. WE’VE HAD THIS NOTEBOOK SITTING IN STORAGE FOR 4 MONTHS AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TYPE OF CHARGE IT HAD WHEN WE RECEIVED IT. I LET IT CHARGE TO 100% AS I RAND ALL AVAILABLE WINDOWS UPDATES. I ALSO WENT INTO SETTINGS AND CREATED A NEW LOCAL ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT. I SWITCHED ACCOUNTS AND I DELETED THE PRIOR OWNER’S USER ACCOUNT AND ALL FILES LINKED TO THAT ACCOUNT. I LET THE NOTBOOK SIT OVERNIGHT AND IT MAINTAINED 100% CHARGE ON THE BATTERY. I TESTED THE FUNCTIONS OF THE NOTEBOOK USING BATTERY POWER. AFTER SUCCESSFULLY TESTING, I RESET THE NOTEBOOK TO FACTORY DEFAULTS. AFTER THE RESET, I POWERED IT OFF AT THE “Is this the right country or region?” PAGE 1 OF THE ORIGINAL SET-UP.
