Description: I'm selling my Leica Q2 with two genuine Leica batteries ($300 each), the charger, glass screen protector, and the original box. The camera is in beautiful shape and works great. Both batteries are new-ish - I rarely go through one of them over the course of a full day's shooting. The lens hood and top and bottom plates have a couple of small knicks from normal use; you should be able to see them in the photos. Other than those marks, the body of the camera looks like it came out of the box yesterday! I have never dropped the camera or exposed it to sand or rain (I live in Salt Lake City so you'd have to go out of your way to get caught in a rainstorm here) and it has had a screen protector and UV filter on it from day one. The Q2 was my dream camera from the moment it was released. I have been a fixed-lens camera guy for quite a few years and the Q2 represents the highest-level fixed-lens camera money can buy. In that regard, the camera does not disappoint - the lens is absolutely phenomenal and the build quality is light years beyond any other camera manufacturer. Everything about the Q2 just works beautifully and even SOOC JPEGS look stunning. I am a frugal guy and have always had my doubts about Leica, but a day with the Q2 made me firmly believe that it is one of the most fairly-priced cameras currently available given the lens and build quality (the Q3 now is another matter haha) All that being said, I have had the camera for about a year and have decided to sell it because I simply don't use it enough. I only shoot black and white images and have found that I actually prefer the images from my Fuji over the Leica. Yes, my photographer friends think I am crazy and going blind or something. But for me it's all about the images and I simply prefer the Fuji black and white sensor tech. I have also found that I don't use the Q2 as much due to just how much of a luxury item it is; even though the build quality is absolutely amazing (it does make my Fuji cameras feel like toys) I still find myself afraid to drop it or have it stolen, and so I don't take it on my motorcycle, or out skating, camping, etc. This just doesn't work for me and it makes me sad seeing how much time it spends sitting on my shelf at home. In this case, my fear of damaging it and taking a 4k loss, combined with my love for Fuji JPEGs, is your gain! Message me if you have any questions, I love this camera and am happy to nerd out. I tried to figure out how to see the number of shutter actuations but apparently it is not possible with Leicas. I have shot less than 5k photos with it and the man I bought it from hardly used it, so I would be surprised if it had more than 50k actuations, but I can't be sure.
