The catch is that because of the storage, the clamshell-clasping stickers and the peg hooks have suffered varying degrees of adhesive deterioration. Functionally this means each side of the hinged clamshells are secured to themselves with a variety of strength. This ranges from fully secured all the way down to the five Star Destroyers with unsecured shells. Those five shells remain closed however, likely due to the shaped interior cardboard. For some assurance, know that I sold a trio of these earlier in the year that were completely unlatched, and the posted feedback noted how I was able to succeed in safely keeping the clamshells together for transport (cling wrap!) In other words, these will arrive to you as they appear here. As far as condition goes, please assume that the plastic clamshells have all manner of scratching and physical injury. There is dried yellow adhesive at the top and back, and most have Wal-Mart price stickers on the front. If you're main concern is for sealed brick bags, you're likely be satisfied. Apart from the above, the contents should present just as the manufacturer distributed them at the time, including any manufacturing defects.
