Description: This auction is for aLegends Brass S MFtrumpet mouthpiece.Description The Legends S MF is based on a vintage mouthpiece played by a legendary trumpeter in the late 1980's. It has a very round rim which slips seamlessly into a convex V cup, like many mouthpieces used by this legendary player. The roundness of the rim makes it difficult to accurately measure the inside rim diameter, but it is about .595". The highest point of the rim is far to the outside, which makes the diameter feel wider than it actually is. The cup depth is medium shallow to shallow (similar to Bach D/E). The rim and cup of the Legends S MF are identical to the vintage model, but the throat and backbore are not. The S MF throat is a standard #27 and the backbore is the Legends S. The small inside diameter coupled with the shallow convex V cup on the SM F will give you the high voltage sound you've always dreamed of!
