Description: This auction is for aLegends Brass JT MF2trumpet mouthpiece.Description This mouthpiece was inspired by a vintage Jet-Tone MF2 mouthpiece, a model designed for the Legendary Maynard Ferguson. The rim just gradually melts into the cup, making it incredibly comfortable. The cup is medium shallow to shallow, and is a convex-V from rim to throat. The entrance to the throat is open, so it yields plenty of air flow and a nice big sound. The Legends JT blank is a perfect balance: enough mass to enhance slotting with a big core, but not so much mass that the sound won't sizzle! Slotting is excellent with this model. Although this design was inspired by a vintage Jet-Tone, this is not an exact copy. This piece has the Legends enhanced throat (#27), enhanced throat cylinder length, and the Legends S backbore. This model is great for legit, lead, or any style of playing. (If you are familiar with the Legends JT MF, this is the same mouthpiece but with a wider inside diameter.)
