The MojoAxe bridge is a modern replacement for the 1960s Gibson lightning bolt style bridge as used on SGs, Melody Makers, and Firebirds as well as various 1960's Epiphone models. Gibson did not ever make a left-handed version of the lightning bolt bridge, but one is now available from MojoAxe.The MojoAxe bridge is similar to the original 1960s Gibson lightning bolt style bridge except that the saddles are positioned for correct intonation with modern string sets which have 3-wound/3-plain strings (the original 1960s bridge was designed for string sets with a wound G-sting, thus is impossible to properly intonate with modern string sets which have a plain G-string). Installing a MojoAxe CWT60 bridge is a great way to dramatically improve the playability of your vintage Gibson guitar while maintaining the appearance of the original part.Rather than being made of diecast zinc as the original 1960s bridges were, the MojoAxe Lightweight Lightning Bolt bridge is CNC machined from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum bar stock.The bridge includes an Allen key for adjusting the set screws, a pair of studs, and instructions for setting up the intonation. MojoAxe products are made in the USA.Please note that this bridge is not compatible with 1954-1962 Gibson guitars which have the studs offset at an angle.
