Description: A 12 by 15-inch Leedy marching snare shell, stamped as made in 1949. White Marine Pearl wrap, factory drilled for a 4-point strainer and 16 beavertail/art deco lugs. Project grade as shown, but this is a good candidate for restoration. It has been painted black over the wrap, and there are some cracks in the wrap in places. No missing wrap, shell is in round, no extra holes anywhere, no ply issues, both edges and snare beds original and flawless. It's a good quality, well-made shell from some of the best years of the Conn Leedy era. Some of the original wrap can be seen in a few places where some paint was removed.
