I was on the team that developed this product and I’ve had this RAIL in my portfolio example since 2013. I’m retiring from design and I’m selling off Leatherman examples from my portfolio. This includes all examples of the “By the Numbers" and Pocket Tool family. These are getting harder to come by as production stopped about ten years ago. The RAIL is an AR maintenance tool for adjusting on-the-fly with Leatherman bits, standard hex bits, and the included disassembly punch. The two-prong sight adjustment tool allows for quick adjustment of iron sites. The carabiner secures the RAIL to you or your pack, always keeping it within reach. Please note that the finish on of the long bits has been scraped away in places. I used thisRAIL to demonstrate the features of the tool, including the bit holder and this removed some of the finish on the bits.
