Description: This is a small evocative watercolor painting of a nude figure leaning. The colors include complimentary blue and gamboge, cadmium red with additional painterly black rigger brush lines giving the piece motion and energy. The style is very loose and abstract. This work was done intuitively with no topic in mind. I used a Hake 1” brush wet on wet watercolor, dropping pigment into wet paper. As the nude human form appeared after drying, I reinforced it with thin black rigger brush lines. I find it a little disturbing but I like the artwork. Perhaps you do too.
