About the artist: Lawrence Beall Smith (1909-1995) was an American painter, sculptor and lithographer. He is listed artist with works in major museums around the world. This is a wonderful example of his work. This is in excellent condition. The etching is clean, clear and bold with a deep imprint on the paper. The clean back has acid free tape at the top from where this was once in a matte. As I am not an expert on art, please view my photographs for more description.
