Laurel Lamp Co. 6083 Tulip Base Murano Glass PAIR

Description: Here is a very rare pair of Laurel Lamp Co. Mid century modern model 6803 table lamps that are near impossible to find anymore, let alone a matching pair and next to pristine condition. Made in Newark NJ, USA sometime in the late 60's era with imported hand blown, frosted glass shades from Murano, Italy. The shades originally shipped with stickers noting that they were hand blown glass and any imperfections, lines, bubbles etc in the glass were natural and not to be considered defects. Both lamps have Laurel labels inside the fixtures. The black color tulip shape bases are made of metal and are quite heavy and still have the felt bottoms underneath. The white sliding tab below the shades unlock the shade from the base and work perfectly. One glass shade has a very tiny chip, shown in photo, but cannot be seen at all once installed on the base. For anyone who appreciates architecture and MCM styling, do not miss your chance to get your hands on these beautiful lamps. They would compliment any space and are sure to be noticed. Measurements are 7.5" square x 3.5" tall for the shades. The lamps stand almost 8" tall. Feel free to ask for more photos.
