Description: Hello, I am not totally sure of the origin or age of this belt plate. I believe it is post-Civil War, though could be sometime from the Indian Wars through the Spanish American War, or later. And possibly a state militia piece. It appears to be rolled brass, with the fittings on the back, and clipped corners.
