Description: This is a large empty 7lbs tin of "Mackintosh's Quality Street Toffees and Chocolates" that has a diameter of approximately 9" and stands about 6" tall. Mackintosh's used the business name of "John Mackintosh & Sons" from 1921 to 1969, so this tin was made sometime within this time period (by the style of the graphics I think it is most likely from the 1950s). This tin is in good condition, but it does have quite a few scratches on the lid and some on the bottom half, and there are some dents - especially on the bottom of the tin (my mother-in-law used to keep her billiard balls inside this tin and that is how it got dented).
