In this listing we offer another part of my mother's Vintage Party Collection Rare ENGLISH Silver Holloware Serving Pieces that matches/blends with many Sterling Flatware & Tray patterns - We list in this lot with no reserve - a nice MASSIVE OLDER CLASSICAL PATTERN STYLED MEAT TRAY - VERY HIGH QUALITY Purchased prior to WWII - HANDY CARVE AND SERVE MEAT TRAY - FOOTED - ELEGANT PRESENTATION - 17" LONG x 11" WIDE FOOTED TRAY, WITH GREAT HANDCHASING WORKMANSHIP - ELEGANT FEET (look at pictures even backside of feet are highly detailed, meat juice tree and well, typical use carving marks and NO monograms as pictured. No major plate wear though spots often seen on trays of this age. This great tray was rarely used for the presentation serving of massive turkeys, hams and when needed even sliced meats on a bed of greens. GREAT ELEGANT AND HANDY SIZED CLASSIC SERVING / TRAY - Authentic CLASSIC STYLED HOLLOWARE no longer made(?) Try to find a grand tray of this quality now at any price. All original - grand and pretty! No personalization - no monograms. ONLY TRAY IS SOLD IN THIS LOT. From a superb collection - owner was serious collector/host. These were special pieces that our family used less for special annual dinner parties. Very useful party host/hostess items. Vintage heirloom quality, these were used for 30++ years for entertaining in my family's homes, we think these items were acquired post World War II. This is an outstanding, truly versatile, group/set of good weight/heft, elegant pattern. No major flaws or damages not mentioned, expect surface wear, general marks, spots, scratches, wear, oxidation and patina commensurate with age and use of treasured serverware/flatware used for special meals/holidays. All this has been stored away in the box for many years and a simple cleaning/polishing will make it look even more elegant on your table.
